Covid Shipping Updates For International Customers

Posted by Lana Mushamel on

Lovelies,

As we approach the holiday season, we want to be completely transparent on order delivery expectations. With Covid-19, we have experienced unprecedented delays in international deliveries, as well as a number of orders being lost. We have done our best to accommodate customers with replacements or refunds. We just want you to know it is just as stressful for us as it is for you when your orders are delayed or not arriving. We please ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate these times. Please, if you plan on placing an order during this holiday season, get your orders in as soon as possible. That way, if there are any delays, we can attempt to resolve it before the holidays near.

Thank you so so much,
Liz & Lana

Here is a breakdown of the shipping process.
We ship all orders via USPS. Over the past few months, I've received countless emails from international customers saying "my order seems to be stuck in Los Angeles Distribution Center as it hasn't moved for a few weeks." I want to clarify that your package isn’t stuck in Los Angeles like the tracking would make it seem. The L.A. distribution center is the final stop in the USA. While your package is traveling there are no additional scans of the package until it reaches the destination country and is scanned in by their postal system. So your tracking number could read " Los Angeles Distribution Center" to anywhere from 1 week to a couple months. Pre-Covid, this step wouldn't last more than just a couple weeks. Now, during Covid, we have no estimates.

Once your receiving country scans in the package, your tracking will be updated and handed off to your receiving country's postal service for final delivery. So for example, orders going to Canada will be handed off to Canada Post, U.K. would be the Royal Post, etc. If you have any questions on the whereabouts of your package, you must contact your country's postal service for additional information.
